Hamilton & Rowe Law LLP is a distinguished Barrister & Solicitor with over 15 years of experience providing exceptional legal counsel to individuals and businesses across Ontario. Born and raised in Toronto, Sarah developed a passion for justice and advocacy early in life, inspired by her grandmother who was one of the first female lawyers in Ontario.
Sarah graduated magna cum laude from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2009, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Osgoode Hall Law Journal and received the Dean's Gold Key Award for academic excellence. She was called to the Ontario Bar the same year and began her career at McCarthy Tétrault, one of Canada's most prestigious law firms, where she honed her skills in complex commercial litigation.
After seven successful years on Bay Street, Sarah made the strategic decision to establish her own practice in 2016. This move allowed her to provide the personalized attention and tailored legal strategies that larger firms often cannot offer. Her boutique approach has resulted in a 98% client satisfaction rate and numerous referrals from satisfied clients.
Sarah's expertise spans multiple practice areas, with particular strength in corporate law, family disputes, real estate transactions, and personal injury claims. She has successfully represented clients in high-stakes negotiations, complex litigation matters, and sensitive family proceedings. Her strategic approach combines thorough legal research with practical business acumen, ensuring clients receive not just legal advice, but comprehensive solutions that align with their broader objectives.
What sets Sarah apart is her commitment to accessibility and communication. She believes that legal services should be transparent and understandable, which is why she takes time to explain complex legal concepts in plain language. Her clients consistently praise her responsiveness, with most inquiries answered within hours rather than days. This dedication to service has earned her a reputation as one of Toronto's most trusted legal advocates.
Beyond her legal practice, Sarah is deeply committed to her community. She volunteers with Legal Aid Ontario, providing pro bono services to underserved populations, and serves on the board of the Toronto Women's Legal Network. She is also a frequent speaker at legal conferences and has published articles in the Canadian Bar Review on corporate governance and family law reform.
When not practicing law, Sarah enjoys hiking in Algonquin Park, practicing yoga, and spending time with her rescue dog, Justice. She is fluent in English and French, allowing her to serve Ontario's diverse population effectively. Sarah's philosophy centers on building lasting relationships with her clients based on trust, transparency, and results—believing that every client deserves not just legal representation, but a true advocate who understands their unique circumstances and fights passionately for their interests.
